Amodo Mobile SDK gathers real-time raw data from edge devices. This data is subsequently transmitted to the backend of the Amodo Connected Insurance Platform, where data validation takes over with one goal – to provide meaningful data of the highest quality, reliability, and authenticity. The collected insights undergo a comprehensive cleansing, standardization, enrichment, and analysis process to produce clean, processed, and usable data.
Upon receipt of the raw data, Amodo Backend initiates comprehensive data cleansing and processing to standardize the quality of the gathered insights, regardless of edge devices. The raw data is processed through a sophisticated analysis system, which removes any extraneous data, extrapolates the missing data points, and contextualizes the recorded data with information from other sources to ensure the maximum quality of the collected data.
Different tactics are used to avoid misinterpretation and to ensure that the collected data belongs to the genuine user. The data validation engine can identify most of the misuse, which enables Amodo Clients to deploy appropriate corrective measures.
Amodo platform implements a suite of algorithms to ensure the reliability of the collected data, including Transportation Mode Detection and Driver vs. Passenger. Transportation Mode Detection utilizes GPS, accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer data, along with contextual information from different sources, to accurately identify a user's mode of transportation, including car, bus, train, bike, subway, and airplane. Meanwhile, the Driver vs. Passenger machine learning algorithm utilizes data collected during a trip to distinguish between drivers and passengers within a vehicle.
